Coach Swofford states, “This is a huge win. You talk about beating the number two team in the state. They have a great team. The win gave us good spirits and good confidence as a team.”

The Ava Bears take on Salemon the road this coming Friday the 21st. Swofford explains, “It is very even. They have a good team and have not lost a game yet. They are very big up front and have good running backs. I’m saying it is even, but probably when you put the numbers to it they are a little bigger than we are and we will have to play our very best.” Come out and support the Bears!
