Micheal Fratti is making Ava High School history by being the first student in over 8 years to make Missouri All-State choir. The concert will be held at the Tan-Tar-A resort center in Osage Beach Missouri. Micheal, along with 24 other students from our district will be traveling to the SCMMEA conference the last week of January in order to prepare their performance for hundreds of Missouri music teachers and students.
Micheal says he is very excited to perform, but he may or may not be dreading the three days of practice that he will endure beforehand. To attain his current status, Micheal was required to prepare a vocal piece to audition for the 2015 district choir, which he made. Only the top 25 from each vocal section were given the honor to audition for the All-State choir on the day of the district concert. Micheal found out the same night of auditions that he had been selected to be a part of the Missouri All-State choir. Make us proud!
