Jacey Swofford is a name Ava will remember. Not just for scoring over 1000 points in her high school basketball career, but for being a dedicated student on and off the court. It takes hard work in the classroom to get the privilege to play, and you can’t let your grades drop if you want to keep playing. Jacey has a great attitude on the court and off the court. She has put in lots of time on and off the court, perfecting her game. Whenever she isn’t practicing at school she is practicing at home. All of the time she has put into basketball has paid off big time.  The past two seasons at Ava high school Jacey has been the leading scorer. There have been games where she started off hot from the beginning and you could tell she was going to have a great game. Jacey is capable from scoring from any spot on the floor. Coach Sanders said, “I think she would be the first to tell you that she couldn’t have reached this mark without all the teammates she has had throughout her career here at Ava.”JaceyJacey2
