On December 8th, 2017, movie theatres all over the world started showing “The Greatest Showman”. Not many people knew about the movie at the time, but the people who did know were nothing but amazed.

The movie takes place in the late 1800’s. A man named P.T. Barnum had grown up living on the streets as a beggar. He soon decides that he is going to go work of the railroad. When he returns, he decides that he wants to be with his childhood friend, who had come from a very rich and well known family. As time goes on, P.T. tries to find different ways to support his family of a wife and two daughters. He soon realizes that he could make a lot of money off of creating a group of “freaks”. What he didn’t know was that he had taken a big group of outcasts and turned them into a family.

Throughout the movie, P.T. starts realizing that what he has will never been enough for him and he makes some poor choices that lead to him and his wife almost splitting apart. This movie has many big name stars such as Zendaya, Zac Efron, and the star of the movie, Hugh Jackman. I would recommend this movie to anyone. You learn so many lessons that will stay with you throughout your entire life. It is a good mix of fun, music, and sadness. You will not be disappointed.
