Remain Calm and Focused

Meditation Is The Key

It’s April. The days are getting longer and the weather is getting hotter, so you know what that means: SUMMER BREAK! Everyone gets excited to plan things and looks forward to having a fun time, but there’s a catch: we’re still in school. We still have tests, finals, and, most importantly, our grades to keep up. The end of the school year is the worst time to let your grades slip and start failing a class, so just stay calm and focused. You’ll have plenty of time for fun in summer! You can still have fun and finish this school year strong.

We all get a little stressed when we know finals are coming up, but don’t freak. There are amazing tips and people who would love to help you study and finish strong. “Just remember that your health is the most important thing for you,” said Katie Boergert, AHS Junior.

  1. If you don’t understand something, communicate with your peers and ask your teacher.
  2. It’s okay to go out and have some fun, just leave enough time to study for the end-of-year exams.
  3. If you need help setting up college visits, studying, etc. ask a friend, parent, or teacher.
